July 11, 2000 Things are still progressing slowly. Blame a scatterbrain as a result of kids being off-track and a zillion distractions, as well as an artistic dislike for anything I've come up with so far for the Squaresoft section. At any rate, there are some new things coming up in the next few days to keep you interested. The first thing up is a very cool interview with an author and roleplay source creator I absolutely love. If you're a Dragonlance, AD&D, or other fantasy RP fan, you've probably worked with some of Steve Miller's great modules. Steve also was one of the authors of the great Reader's Companion book for Dragonlance 5th Age, The Odyssey of Gilthanas. Check out Steve's answers to some of my questions in the Dragonlance section. May 22, 2000 The Realm has been added to The Original Writing WebRing. This is an excellent source for online fiction, poems, essays, and creative thinking. Visit some of the other sites on the ring and get reading with great writers in a multitude of genres! By the way, I encourage you FFRPers with IRC channels out there to e-mail me with information about your site, including webpage if any, net and channel names, administrator's name and e-mail, and a basic description of the setting. A Realm contributor will visit if interested and give a review for our Channel Listing. (Note, they don't all have to be on the UnderNet. UnderNet just happens to be a popular net for FFRP since it doesn't have Nickserve and you can change names with your characters.) Added the submission guidelines for Artwork and Writing. There will eventually be a form submission, but I'd like to continue getting the site content up as fast as possible, so for now e-mail is still the submission route. I'm having a saving problem that's delaying creating the download versions for the BladePro presets. Will fix as soon as I'm lucid and get them up. As you can see I've submitted to a few more rings of interest to The Realm.
